Hopewell Township has an all-volunteer fire department. In addition to firefighting, the department provides various services such as HazMat response, search and rescue and accident response/vehicle extraction.

The Hopewell Township Volunteer Fire Department currently consists of 26 active firefighters, 9 life members, 3 administrative members and 5 honorary members that serve out of two stations in the township. Our Fire Chief is Jon Cochran, he can be reached via email at firechief@hopewelltwp.com.

As an all-volunteer organization, the Hopewell Township Volunteer Fire Department depends on your support to keep equipment up-to-date, to maintain continuous training programs, and to ensure the safety and welfare of our community. Fire Stations

Hopewell Station #1 was built in 1945. It houses our vehicles #925, #927 and #929. It was renovated in 1992. The station is Located at the corner of Brodhead Road and McKinley Ave. This station houses our vehicles #921, #923, #926, #928 and Tower #92.

Hopewell (Ramsey) Station #2 was built in 1977 on Rt. 151 because of the growth of the township. This station is also the location of the Hopewell VFD Banquet Hall … a facility that can be rented for a variety of needs. In 2005 Station ##2 was renovated because of the need for more space due to the acquisition of new fire apparatus. The Banquet Hall was also updated at that time. Station #2 was named in Honor of our long time Chief, R.Lee Ramsey.

Station #2 is located at 1401 Gringo Road (PA Route 151), Aliquippa, PA 15001.

Banquet Hall

The newly renovated Gringo Road Fire Hall offers rental of the social hall and meeting room for dinners, weddings, birthdays and graduation parties. The fire hall has air conditioning, an ice machine, a soda fountain and a kitchen. Ambulance Service

Medic Rescue is a provider of emergency medical services (EMS) serving the communities of Beaver County, Pennsylvania. Based in Bridgewater PA, Medic Rescue is a non-profit ambulance company, staffed by over 100 paramedics, emergency medical technicians and wheelchair van personnel plus 25 support personnel.
